Single parent and burnout — Lucia Rau's cycling trip with a toddler to the North Cape

Can a cycling trip become therapy? For Lucia Rau, it did.
“Mommy!”
“Mommy ...”
“Mmmmaaaammmma!”
The breakfast table isn't cleared yet, the laundry piles up, and I'm late again! Life with a toddler is challenging.
Lucia is in a phase of deep exhaustion.. She is a single mother with no childcare options available. Her son is also suffering: his temper is short, and communication is often strained. Lucia cannot meet the three-year-old's needs.
„"This cannot continue."“

Lucia knew from previous experiences that travel had a positive effect on her. But she hadn't yet done a cycling trip (well, almost ;-))

Nevertheless, she dares to do it: With her son in a trailer, a tent, and a touch of naivety, she cycles from Munich to the North Cape. Without an e-bike, without a grand plan, but with a clear goal – to finally think her thoughts through to the end again!
We'll be talking about:
- Lucia's travel preparations
- their encounters with friends, strangers and “saving angels”
- the healing effect of everyday travel
- and: about an eerie cough at night
